PRINCIPAL & HEAD TEACHER

Miss Belinda brings over 20 years of dance experience and 15 years of teaching expertise to Hype-O Performing Arts Academy. She is deeply committed to ongoing professional development to ensure her students receive the highest standard of training.

Growing up immersed in the entertainment industry, Miss Belinda began her teaching journey at just 11 years old at her father’s dance studio. 

Since then, she has built a career grounded in excellence, creativity, and a genuine passion for nurturing confident, well-rounded performers.

Rock & Roll, Drama, Performance, Fundamentals, Pom

HEAD OF ADMINISTRATION

It doesn’t get more homegrown than our very own Miss Hayley.

Miss Hayley began her journey at Hype-O as a dance mum, and less than a year later became our very first adult student. She has been part of Hype-O since the day we opened and is now a well-known and much-loved member of our community.

As the first friendly face you see when you walk into our studio, Miss Hayley knows the ins and outs of everything we do and how we do it. With her warm smile and genuine care, she is always ready to support our students and families and ensure everyone feels welcomed, informed, and looked after.

TEACHER

 Mr Chris is a well rounded Dancer and actor with a huge resume. 

Mr Chris has been blessed with many amazing opportunities throughout his career thus far including; Dance double on the masked singer, starring and featuring in over 20 commercials, Dancer & Choreographer in and of a Toyota campaign and so much more.

Speciality Styles: Acrobatics, Hip Hop & Acting

TEACHER

Miss Triss is a passionate and multi-skilled instructor who brings together her background in health and fitness with her love of dance. Alongside actively studying and teaching dance, she works as a fitness and health trainer, giving her a strong understanding of safe technique, strength, and body awareness.

Miss Triss has extensive experience working with younger dancers, from babies through to primary-aged students, and is known for her gorgeous, compassionate, and nurturing approach. She creates a positive and encouraging classroom environment where young performers feel supported, confident, and excited to learn.

Specialty Styles: Ballet & Jazz

TEACHER

Miss Kara began dancing at the age of three and has since built a professional career spanning over 15 years as a teacher, performer, and choreographer. Her international performance experience includes contracts with Carnival Cruise Lines and Club Med resorts across Indonesia, Malaysia, and China.

Kara holds a Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies with the Royal Academy of Dance and a Diploma in Performing Arts from ED5 International. Since 2009, she has taught students from toddlers to adults and is passionate about helping dancers build strong technique, confidence, and a genuine love for performing.

Specialty Styles: Singing, Ballet & Tap

TEACHER

Miss Dina has been training with Miss Bel at Hype-O since the age of 12 and has grown into a dedicated, hardworking, and inspiring young performer. Now 18, she recently completed her HSC, excelling in Dance and demonstrating outstanding commitment, discipline, and artistry.

Alongside her own training, Miss Dina is a passionate teacher who loves supporting younger dancers to build confidence, strong technique, and a genuine love for dance. She is a wonderful role model within the studio and takes great pride in helping students grow both on and off the stage.

Specialty Styles: Contemporary, Lyrical & Jazz

TEACHER

Miss Maddison is a pre-professional dancer currently completing her Diploma of Professional Dance (Elite Performance), training across a wide range of styles. Alongside her training, she is a passionate and dedicated teacher who loves supporting children to build confidence, strong technique, and performance skills as they develop their love for dance and the performing arts.

RECEPTIONIST

Miss Belinda joined Hype-O Performing Arts Academy one year ago and has quickly become a valued and trusted member of our team. While new to the administrative field when she started, Miss Belinda has shown outstanding dedication, initiative, and a strong willingness to learn — qualities that have allowed her to grow rapidly into her role.

She is highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing a positive experience for every student and family. Behind the scenes, Miss Bel supports our enrolments, communications, and day-to-day operations, helping to keep the studio running smoothly.
