our commitment to our students safety

Our studio is committed to child safety.  We want all of our students to feel safe, happy and empowered.  We support and respect all children, as well as our staff and families.  

• We support and respect all children, as well as our staff and families.  We have specific policies, procedures and training in place that support our staff in achieving these commitments.  

• We are committed to providing a nurturing environment where all our students feel valued and can learn in a supportive atmosphere, regardless of their skill level.  

• We are committed to employing teachers that uphold these values and we will stop classes and remove a teacher should we feel their behavior is inappropriate or does not align with the positive and warm environment we believe our students have the right to be in. 

• Whilst we understand disciple and structure is a fundamental part of dance, we do not believe that the way to achieve this is by demeaning, isolating or intimidating our students. 

• Parents are an important part of our dance community and should always feel their children are safe. 

• We have zero tolerance of bullying and regularly work with our staff and students to ensure this is embedded in our culture. 

• We have zero tolerance for child abuse and/or neglect. We understand our roles and duties as mandatory reporters and we take these duties very seriously. All allegations and safety concerns will be treated very seriously and will be presented to the appropriate authorities.
